Turning A New Chapter

Introduction

I first began making content about 13 years ago. Back then, I went under numerous aliases of who I wanted to be: JordanTalksTV, notsoseri0us, oOZOMB1EK1LLEROo, and none of them stuck (also... please don't ask. I don't know why I did ANY of these either). Until about 8 years ago, I officially settled on "SERIOUS" as my primary identity with "CAMRY" as a secondary, more personal and individual based entity rather than a branding. As I have ventured over this journey, I have undergone many iterations of what I would define as my true passion and interest. Now, I am officially turning the page and starting a new chapter: focusing on me and what I am passionate about.

What do you mean "focusing on me"?

For years, I always created content that would drive views or clicks. I was a trend hopper, I lacked identity, I lacked purpose within the sphere. I was always suffering an identity crisis, both individually and to my peers. I was uncertain of where I wanted to go and who I wanted to be labeled as.

But those days are over. I am starting this chapter strong with my latest video Romanticizing A Vacation to Los Angeles. This video focuses on me and my parents as we travel to my new-found home in Los Angeles and Orange County, California. This video also utilizes my new editing style (DaVinci Resolve), camera (Sony ZV-E10 II), and color grading (Homemade). The pacing, scenes, and focus of the video is completely unscripted but loosely planned before the trip to ensure I got exactly what I was aiming for. This video serves as a love letter to myself as I discover who "CAMRY" really is beyond "SERIOUS".

What's next?

I am officially announcing my schedule, plans, ambitions, and goals for everything surrounding "SERIOUS". I have opened up partnerships and business opportunities to any and all who wish to reach out and work alongside me, as well as taken the proper time to rebrand all my social medias, this websites design and layout, and my structure of content going forward.

Within the coming days, I will be posting a new blog post with a full timeline of everything planned out, but for now the current road map is:

  • 2 to 3 YouTube videos a month
  • 2 to 3 TikToks a month
  • 1 Twitch livestream a week
  • Regular checkins on status and plans
  • 1 to 2 blogs a month
